About Mordor Gundogs

In 1999, whilst at university, Charlie Thorburn bought his first dog (Moss), an English Springer Spaniel. He was wild and wilful and training was needed.

Having enjoyed the experience so much a second dog ( Jasper - working cocker spaniel) was bought and at the same time a friend asked Charlie if he would also train their dog.

This rolled on and as more friends and acquaintances sent their dogs to Charlie
so Mordor Gundogs came into being.

Having previously run the business from his backyard the dogs are now housed in purpose-built kennels that more than meet the standards set by the professional kennelling authorities.

Built in 2006 and with underground drainage and overhead heating we pride ourselves on keeping the dogs in the highest standard of accommodation.
