Welcome to Mordor Gundogs

Mordor Gundogs is a training school for future gundogs and their owners. We train and breed working dogs to accompany shooting men and women in shooting situations.

Situated in the hills of Perthshire we have all the facilities we need on our door step,from grouse moors to pheasant shoots.

Training

We train using kind but firm methods. Dogs are taken in for training, owners and their dogs can come for regular lessons, or we can supply you with dogs trained from scratch up to varying levels. We also have the use of pheasant pens and rabbit pens which are available for clients as part of the client training package. Owners are encouraged to visit regularly for their own training.

Breeding

We breed Labradors (black and dark yellow), Springer and Cocker Spaniel. We also have stud dogs and occasionally have puppies available. Our dogs are bred for their looks and temperament, as well as their brains and ability to work.

Exporting Dogs Abroad

We have gained a great deal of experience exporting dogs abroad. Be it a pup to Denmark, or a fully experienced dog to Texas, we can organise it all so that the dog has the best possible journey. With older dogs especially we normally like to accompany them to ensure a safe handover and to instruct and demonstrate to the new owner. With pups we prefer the new owner to travel with the dog if possible.

To date our dogs have gone to Denmark, Belgium, Romania, Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, Dubai, Sweden and the USA (New York, Connecticut, Georgia, Florida and Texas)
