Rhum is everyone’s favourite chap. He is so handsome. He is a beautiful colour and possibly the best gundog Mordor Gundogs will ever have. He has produced many, many excellent pups of which a fair number have been trained at Mordor Gundogs. He is the father, grandfather, great grandfather, and soon to be great great grandfather of all of our labs. He is just a perfect dog and brings joy to the wettest and coldest of days.
Zeus
Black Labrador | Hip Score 4:5 (9) | Eyes Clear
Zeus is a very fast, powerful dog who will happily fetch a bird over a deer fence even though he is a great size and a clasic labrador build. Very much a proper all round chap. He is extremely good on runners, even knowing they are wounded as they fly over head.
Thor

Thor is a new addition to our stud dogs. He is the son of Zeus and we are awaiting his Hip elbow and optigen test back. He is a very strong handsome dog. He would run rings around most of the Labradors you see at Crufts, but keeps up with the best in the field as well. He will leap fences for fun and occasionally retrieves a small spaniel if nothing else can be found! He is slightly full of himself - some might say dogs are like their owners!
Nutella

Although as a pureist gundog training kennels chocolates are looked down at. Nutella has proved himself as a worthy advisary. Although immature and full of beans like chocolates tend to be, as soon as the word ‘work’ is uttered he transforms into a focused and very useful dog. He rounds off the trio of colour of labrador stud dogs avaliable at Mordor.
Springer Spaniels
Moss
Liver & White English Springer Spaniel | 13 Years Old
As Mordor Gundogs' first dog he is now rather spoilt but deservedly so. He has done in the region of 500 days shooting and has the stories to tell for it. A very handsome dog (and knows it). You never catch Moss off guard when there is a camera about.
Solo
Liver & White English Springer Spaniel
Called Solo as he was the last son of a lovely dog FTCH Willowbay Sandpiper belonging to Edward Martin (Sealpin Kennels). He is a wonderfully honest dog with huge style and enthusiasm. Will sit steady at the peg or crash through thick gorse, just whatever you ask of him.
Dragon
English Springer Spaniel
Dragon is a great compliment to his more senior springer stud dog Solo, in as much as he has strong liver markings. A cracking looking dog and a very all-rounded springer spaniel, with a love for retrieving and swimming as much as hunting. He normally starts and ends his day with a bad hair day and a slightly goofy look with one lip curled up under one of his fangs! Dragon has produced some wonderful pups over the last couple of years and we hope this will continue.

Little pretty boy! Mordor Gundogs sourced and trained his brother for a friend. We were so sorry to see Archie go that with the help of the breeder, tracked down his litter brother (Reiver) and bought him at about a year and a half old.
Jasper
Lemon & White Cocker Spaniel
The cleverest dog Mordor Gundogs have! Does not miss a trick - ever. A very useful dog and good all-rounder. One of the main picking up dogs these days. Favourite place is on a partridge shoot or the sofa!!

A handsome young chap who has already had some wonderful pups. He has incredible focus and fantastic eye contact.Very calm and collected.
